PS3’s or any Gaming system can not GET a . Even when you connect for online play, you are connecting directly to the gameing server and I dont think Microsoft or Sony would have viruses on there servers. And you could not GIVE your ps3 a . It does not use the same operating system that a has. So even if you TRIED to give it one, it wouldnt work. Whoever said that is an idiot…

    From my understanding the ps3’s operating system is closed. meaning that hackers can’t get the code. Also, the ps3 won’t accept or run unsigned, or verified, code. Making it theoretically impossible to make a virus for it. If you put linux on there, i don’t know for sure, but there’s not many viruses for linux so you should be good.
