my computer was infected, this very one im using now, it had so many viruses and “stuff” that norton gave up at 1%, mcafee quit and installed more viruses at 98%(hate it when that happens, for everything). Installed and still using KAV 2008 and it took a day to get rid of everything but it got rid of EVERYTHING. so much was gone that my computer was faster then it was brand new. What caused all this trouble, and $180? me trying to google something quickly i typed in goggle*com…..never go there

@mcwiggles1213 internet security has more protection and virtual pc what allows u to download viruses and test them…. it has better anti virus and anti banner firewall and more so i think need to get inteernet security…. cause it is allways better ;)… and lol how old are u? im 11

Internet security has a hips thats like when you open programs they check the database blah blah and then puts the program inside rules like trusted ,low restricted, high restricted, untrusted (and then it ask or deny mods of the system and Internet connection blah blah ) and it has a firewall !

ive delt with norton 2010 already and i did not like it one bit and their customer service is fukin horrible they got a bunch of pakies working there and u try to explain your problem to them and they say some shit u cant even understand and then they keep asking you for like 30$ to fix your problem lol so usless…..
if u want a good program go with KAV or ESET
if u want something thats free try Avira or AVG or microsoft security esentials

@syed097 After trying KAV and NAV, I believe NAV is better. While KAV has arguably the best detection rate, it did cause me some major performance issues and took 11 hours to do a full scan, and made web browsing slow, and watching videos almost impossible. NAV did not causes these problems and still has a great detection rate. So therefore, in my opinion NAV is better.

LOL Kaspersky firewall is shit? It tied with COMODO (The 2010 edition) so STFU. If you say it sucks, then COMODO firewall is shit!
And bootscan? Pssh. Kaspersky deletes running viruses AFTER re-boot. Same difference. And idc about the P2P shield, Just download from TPB and you’ll never have a problem. Its just there to make FP about Keygens found in most torrents =P
And AVG beat avast! against my malware links. Thats why i say its better.
truely speaking not every adwares(not trojan)are harmful for pc.AND Detection rate depends AV to AV,,.I found superantispyware only detects all malwares(adware+spywares)
but the facilty of avast! is u can check a file/torrent is virus effected or not before u begin the download..
and for already virus effected pc avast better because of boot time scan..kav no doubt good antivirus.(advanced+) but its firewall is shit.and about AVG plz lol i dont agree!:)U could take name of avira..bye ….
the new kaspersky internet security 2010 uses less ram and doesn’t lag or irritate on many systems.. If your computer is slow you should get new hardware and use free softwares like CCleaner and Defraggler..
If you wanna test avast! Against rogue software to go to antispyware(d1t)c0m and download that. Its 100% rogue and goes RIGHT through. Sorry, Avast! Plainly fails at blocking the most annoying spyware. And a LOT of viruses go through. To be honest, AVG is better. (Tested both)
LOL I tested avast!. It blocked 9 out of 10 links. BUT the one it diden’t block downloaded TONES of rogue spyware. It didn’t even block the Rogue stuff. The shields are BS for the most part.
