I got into the system restore panel, however it won’t let me continue and says “No system points have been created on your computer’s system disk. To create a restore point open “System Protection”. When I open system protection, there’s the following tabs.. “Computer Name”, “Hardware”, “Advanced”, “Remote”…please help, I don’t know how to

Unfortunately, System Restore won’t work if there are no restore points.

There may be other things that you can do though.

Question by Just Wondering 777: What kind of PC laptop should I get? (No MAC recommendations please)?
I am looking to get a PC laptop for college (and as I said in the question, it is going to be a PC and not a MAC). Since Microsofts software is put on so many different kinds of computers like HP and Dell and Toshiba and Sony, I am not sure what kind to get.

I have a price range with a cap of about 00.

These are the key things I am looking for in it:
-Great Processor
-Ram (2-4 GB)
-Hard Drive (200+ GB)
-DVD RW
-Long Battery Life
-Good Video + Sound Card
-Virus + Theft Protection and Security
-Good Warranty

I want something fast with a lot of memory that can read and write DVDs, has a decent battery life, looks and sounds great (possibly capable of high-end gaming), and has a good 3-year warranty.
Dave: Get me a good macbook pro not stripped down to its bare essentials for under 00 and I’ll do that.

There’s a reason I don’t want MAC recommendations and its not cuz I dont like them….

go with either HP, or Dell, since their both good for both desktops and laptops, although i would reccomend a HP rather than a dell, since HP offers better customer service and product relibility than dell.
