I accidentally clicked a bad link through a phishing scam on AIM and now my laptop is very slow. I ran my virus scan and spyware detector but to no avail , both softwares did not pick anything up. how can i get my computer running back to normal.

You probably have Malware and Adware infections which most AV’s lack a good detection database…go to CNet.com and download this free home edition product……Malwarebytes anti-malware … and also download Super anti-spyware to…and get rid of spyware detector…its detection rate is very low against all others…

Currently i am using panda security antivirus pro (which i got free with my laptop with 1 year lisence) & orbit malware fighter, but they are unable to delete autorun virus. I also tried autorun remover tool & autorun eater. Pls suggest.

autorun.inf is not a virus, however there are viruses which use autorun.inf

What are trying to do ? Disable autorun.inf or remove a virus which is using autorun.inf ?

So I am pretty sure I have viruses and spyware on my computer because of endless pop ups, some of my applications randomly get deleted, and my computer has been slow. I downloaded the 90 day trial of mcafee and when it scanned my computer it did not detect anything. So what cam i do to remove the viruses without deleting my data?
