I suggest you scan on safe mode. If AVG can’t find it maybe you could try antispyware

http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php

Also Avira Antivir Free has a much more better detection rate than AVG.

I found a remover on download.com if you want to use it

    Hello,

It sounds like you have a bit of a trojan problem. This can be a very bad thing if you do not get it fixed.

Trojan infections can be very tricky to remove from your computer, and it can also let in hundreds of other malicious programs.

Trojans can lead to spyware, malware, and even adware infections. You should probably get this taken care of now.

I had a very serious spyware and trojan infection not to long ago. It started off with a seemingly innocent pop-up, and quickly plaqued my whole computer.

I had to evently pay my computer geek friend $100 dollars to finally fix it. He told me that it was one of the worst cases of spyware and trojan infections he had ever seen.

Then he told me something that really made me angry. He said I could have prevented the whole thing if I would have protected myself with a good spyware removal program.

He then told me that he fixed my computer by getting one of the programs from http://www.honestspywarereview.com . I don’t remember exactly the one it was, but you can check it out for yourself.

The AVG isnt very effective in these cases..I had the same case before ..
you should firstly turn off the system restore with clicking “my computer a right click”
then go to http://www.avast.com ,download Avast antivirus home edition, its for free..and download its Updates from the downloads page..
and then install the Antivirus,it will schedule a boot-time scan after it restarts the pc..so it can take the viruses while they are inactive and before they take control of the pc again..
let Avast to finish its boot-time scan and wait for it to finish..then after the pc turns on,install the updates..
you will need a malware application to help you in getting rid of other kinds of infections that Antiviruses cant find sometimes..
you can find free anti malware applications on this website:
    http://www.malwarebytes.org/
you can find some other helpful free tools on http://www.download.com too..
I wish that can be helpful for you..
