What Antivirus Software Do You Recommend?

twitter.com - facebook.com - During live calls recently, one person asked my opinion on the best anti-virus program to use. I always defer this question to my assistant, Kat. She is a five-year Microsoft MVP in Consumer Security. What security do you use? chris.pirillo.com

Comodo Internet Security Premium (free) is the only security suite that’s worth a damn. Everything else is misinformation.

@mastergx1 I agree about Norton. Biggest piece of shit I’ve ever used. Even worse than Adobe Reader.

    Microsoft Security Essentials

  6. mastergx1 says:

Microsoft Security Essentials is AWESUM - its FREE, it does NOT slow down the machine and seems to catch WAY more viruses in the act aswell. Amung others Ive used: ESET (NOD32) was good but expensive, Kaspersky and Mcafee are both awful as they slow the machine down BIG TIME and can’t even catch 5 year old trojans but:

MY TOP PRIZE FOR THE CRAPPIEST ANTIVIRUS IN MY EXPERIANCE GOES TO..

I dual boot windows 7 on an Imac and use AVG free which has served me and my parents for over 5 years now not a single virus only warnings it caught, cleaned or got rid off. Norton: I got a trojan(which AVG found), Macaffe: I got a worm (which AVG found), Windows live one care = shit. I use AVG free on windows 7, but I only use windows for games and all my important data in on macs.
